Next time you feel rather unimportant, try a little arithmetic. It took two people, your parents, to get you here. Each of your parents had two parents. In the generation just prior to that, there were four people that paired off, shared their love, and contributed to your existence.
YOU ARE the product of 8 grandparents, 16 great grandparents, etc. Keep multiplying by 2 using an average of 25 years between each generation. You will learn that 500 years ago it took 2,097,150 fore-bearers to produce YOU.....
